Gandolfini, Stewart star in Scott's indie drama

Melissa Leo has signed on to star alongside James Gandolfini and Kristen Stewart in the indie drama “Welcome to the Rileys,” to be directed by Jake Scott.

Story revolves around a couple (Gandolfini, Leo) driven apart by the death of their daughter but brought back together when they meet a troubled young woman (Stewart). Ken Hixon wrote the screenplay.

Film begins shooting this month in New Orleans.

Argonaut Pictures and Scott Free Prods. are fully financing and co-producing the film.

Leo stars in the Sundance grand prize winner “Frozen River.” She recently wrapped indie drama “Don McKay” alongside Thomas Haden Church and Elisabeth Shue.
