Wojtowicz-Vosloo to write, direct Plum thriller

Christina Ricci and Liam Neeson will topline psychological thriller “After.Life” with Bill Perkins and Plum Pictures producing and Perkins financing through his just-launched Lleuju Prods. banner.

Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo will make her directorial feature debut, helming from her own screenplay.

“After.Life” centers on a young woman caught between life and death and a funeral director who appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead.

The film, which has a SAG waiver, will begin shooting in November in the New York region.

Perkins, Celine Rattray and Brad Gilbert of Constellation Entertainment will produce. Galt Niederhoffer and Pam Hirsch will exec produce for Plum and Edwin Marshall and James Swisher will exec produce for Harbor Light.

Ricci recently wrapped “New York, I Love You” and is developing “Black and White” while Neeson was most recently seen in “The Other Man.” Wojtowicz-Vosloo’s debut short “Pate” premiered at Sundance.
