Post production vet Mark Eiges dies

Served as editor on 'Monkey Boy'

Post production veteran Mark Eiges died April 8 in Los Angeles. He was 59.

Born in New York, he graduated Cornell U. and the Peter Stark graduate producing program at USC. He served as editor on “Monkey Boy,” as Foley editor on “The Delta Force” and as post-production supervisor on “Sunset Grill” and “Soul Survivor.”

His post-production company provided services for companies including MGM, Artisan, Distant Horizon, and Sony.

He is survived by a sister.
