PGA to honor Michael Douglas

Actor will receive Selznick award in January

Michael Douglas will receive the 2009 David O. Selznick Achievement award from the Producers Guild of America on Jan. 24 at the Hollywood Palladium.

Douglas has produced more than 20 films in the last 35 years, including “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” which won the Academy Award for best picture.

Past honorees have included Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, Roger Corman and Brian Grazer.
