The Producers Guild of America’s international committee has formed an alliance with the Spanish Producers Guild and signed a memorandum of agreement.
“These relationships form the basis of a concerted effort on the guild’s part to globalize” said William Stuart, vice chairman of the PGA panel. “They will give our members unprecedented contacts with like-minded producers all over the world.”
The PGA noted that the committee has recently completed agreements with Jordan, Denmark, Singapore and the Philippines in addition to previously announced agreements with New Zealand, India and the Czech Republic.
The org said it’s also in advanced discussions with producer groups in several additional territories such as England, Italy and France.
