Universal Pictures has upped Matt Apice to VP, digital production, in the studio’s worldwide creative services group.
Apice will coordinate post-production operations with other departments within NBC Universal, as well as identify emerging technologies to use to deliver content across multiple distribution platforms for the division that assists in producing the studio’s global marketing campaigns.
Apice continues to report to Dan Wolfe, exec VP of the worldwide creative services group.
“As a former editor, Matt has become an excellent liaison between our team’s creative and technical personnel,” Wolfe said. “He was instrumental in the creation of our in-house Trailer DI facility and leads our content-transfer, tapeless workflow and security initiatives.”
