'Black Ice,' 'Border' follow

STOCKHOLM — “A Man’s Job,” the Finnish entry for this year’s foreign language Oscar, has scored 11 noms for Finland’s Jussi awards.

The film, which was helmed by Aleksi Salmenpera for Blind Spot Pictures, is about a jobless man who becomes a prostitute to support his family. Pic got nommed in every category but two. Among its noms are for film, director and leading actor.

In second place is Petri Kotwica’s dark love story “Black Ice” with nine noms.

The awards, which will be handed out on Feb. 3, started in 1944.
