LONDON — London-based sales company Independent is handling international sales for “Moon,” a sci-fi thriller starring Sam Rockwell and directed by Duncan Jones.
The pic, which has just finished shooting at the U.K.’s Shepperton Studios, is the story of a man stranded on a moon base, lonely but not alone.
This is the debut feature by Jones, formerly Zowie Bowie, who has carved out a career as a commercials director.
“Moon” is produced by Stuart Fenegan and Nicky Moss of Liberty Films, and Trudi Styler of Xingu Films. Limelight is providing the majority of the financing. Script is by Nathan Parker.
