Anonymous Content exec nabs new post

Curious Pictures’ Susan Holden has named former Anonymous Content director of development Elyse Lawson as Curious’ own head of development.

Holden, managing partner of the Gotham-based animation studio, said Lawson’s experience would help her to “bridge the mix of media that’s a big part of our plans for longform content.”

Curious Pictures plans to branch out into feature films, TV series and games, expanding on a current roster that includes content created for the cartoon/live-action hybrid “Chicago 10” and TV series “Little Einsteins.” Up next for the company is the Michel Gondry/Dan Clowes collaboration “Megalomania,” along with another mixed-media pic with multimedia juggernaut James Patterson called “Beer Belly and Fat Boy.”

Lawson’s experience runs the gamut from animation/live-action series “Blue’s Clues” to “The Lizzie Maguire Movie.” To start off, she’ll focus on feature projects for Curious client Swarovski Entertainment.
