Distributors buy Korea’s ‘Gretel’

Dark fantasy unspooled at Puchon fest

On the eve of the Pusan Film Festival and market, Korean sales agency Fine Cut has licensed helmer Yim Pil-sung’s “Hansel and Gretel” to Terracotta Media for the U.K. and MFA Plus Distribution for Germany and Austria.

The dark fantasy unspooled at South Korea’s Puchon Intl. Fantastic Film Festival in July. It will close the Dragons and Tigers section of the Vancouver fest and play at the upcoming London and Sitges fests.

It has already sold to Canada, France, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Greece, Benelux, Hungary and India.
