Napper promoted to chief operating officer

LONDON — U.K. distribution and cinema operator Curzon Artificial Eye has shaken up its management set-up as it looks to expand.

Richard Napper has been upped from m.d., Curzon Cinemas, to chief operating officer of Curzon Artificial Eye and will have responsibility for group theatrical sales and marketing. Louisa Dent continues as m.d., Artificial Eye, and Rob Kenny stays put as operations director, Curzon Cinemas.

Deborah Rowland has been appointed group marketing director. She joins the company having worked at Icon as group marketing manager and head of creative services.

Ross Fitzsimons will work more closely with Philip Knatchbull, CEO of Curzon Artificial Eye, in a new role as director of strategy and business development.

The group has also launched a new outfit — Fusion Media Sales — a multimedia sales company focused on selling Artificial Eye DVDs. Tom heads up Fusion supported by sales director Murray Dibbs and others.
