Cinetel Films picks up ‘Aussie & Ted’

Shuki Levy co-wrote, directed film

Cinetel Films has acquired distribution rights to the family film “Aussie & Ted,” starring Dean Cain.

Shuki Levy co-wrote and directed the film, which centers on a family dog’s journey to save his owners’ teddy bear and return it home.

The family is played by Cain, Kirstin Eggers, Leo Howard and Alyssa Shafer. Beverly D’Angelo (“Entourage”) also stars as an eccentric aunt.

The film is co-written by Levy and Tori Avey and produced by Ronnie Hadar and Herb Linsey.

The Shuki Levy Children’s Foundation is a producer of the film as well, and copies of the pic will be donated by the foundation to schools, libraries and other orgs that benefit children.
