Music academy offers retrospective

The Brooklyn Academy of Music has a seasonal addition to its BAM Cinematek menu: “Punk ‘n’ Pie,” a Nov. 21-30 retrospective of “films from and about the U.K. punk/post-punk music scene.” Pics will span four decades, from Derek Jarman’s 1977 pic “Jubilee” to Michael Winterbottom’s 2002 Steve Coogan starrer “24 Hour Party People.” Fest also will screen two rarely seen docs on Nov. 23: 1982’s “Rough Cut and Ready Dubbed” and 1978’s “Reggae in a Babylon.”
