'Little Moth' wins Silver award

HONG KONG — Takahashi Izumi’s “What the Heart Craves” won the Golden Digital Award in the Asian Digital Competition at the 32nd Hong Kong Intl. Film Festival while Peng Teo’s “Little Moth” took the Silver Digital Award.

Li Ying’s “Yasukuni” won the Humanitarian Award for documentary.

Thai filmmaker Aditya Assarat picked up the Fipresci crtics’ prize for “Wonderful Town,” while Jan Sverak’s “Empties” received the Signis honor.

Chan Siu-hei’s “The Monk” was the winner in the student division of the Fresh Wave Short Film Competition, presented by actress and helmer Sylvia Chang.
