New Line has promoted Craig Alexander to co-head of business and legal affairs.
He will share his duties with Judd Funk and report to New Line president Toby Emmerich. Alexander and Funk will be jointly responsible for business policies, negotiating talent and rights deals and will oversee the legal affairs division.
Alexander is a 10-year veteran of New Line and will retain his post as senior VP. In addition to negotiating deals for actors, directors, writers and producers, he was also responsible for acquiring literary and other source material properties. During the past two years, he oversaw New Line’s digital distribution of its properties overseas.
