Now James Bond is injecting energy into Sony’s international B.O. market share. “Quantum of Solace” has taken in $400 million-plus globally, and that’s on top of juggernauts such as the “Spider-Man” pics, “The Da Vinci Code” and “Casino Royale,” which kick-started a new Bond franchise starring Daniel Craig. All told, these films have brought in more than $1.5 billion in worldwide grosses.
For 2009, Sony’s “Angels and Demons” and “2012” are in the hunt for foreign B.O.
