Studio to adapt Doug Brown's memoir

Twentieth Century Fox has optioned screen rights to Doug Brown’s memoir “Just Do It: How One Couple Screwed Their Life and Love Back Together.”

The book, to be published by Crown, documents a quest by the author and his wife to have sex for 101 straight days — no matter whether they were fighting or stressed out by their kids. In the process, the author learned about marriage and the possibility of falling madly in love all over again with one’s spouse.

The studio will soon hire a writer who’ll use the book as the template for a romantic comedy.
