Cast’s ‘High’ on school

Bush, Smith, Mana, Ling join indie film

Matt Bush, Yeardley Smith, Camille Mana and Julia Ling have joined the cast of indie “High School,” helmed by John Stalberg and written by Stephen Susco (“The Grudge”).

Bush will star as a high school valedictorian whose first hit of pot coincides with the school’s random drug test the next day. Smith will play a homeroom teacher; Mana and Ling will play students.

Adrien Brody and Michael Chiklis also star in “High School,” which is produced by Parallel Zide, the genre arm of Parallel Media (Daily Variety, Oct. 15).
