“Bloodline” director Bruce Burgess has signed on to helm “Tales of Mulberry Street,” a documentary based on the life of New York actor-radio personality John “Cha Cha” Ciarcia. Rene Barnett will produce.

Ciarcia (“The Sopranos,” “Goodfellas”), known as the unofficial mayor of Little Italy, has spent the past 30 years fighting to preserve the integrity of Gotham’s famous Italian neighborhood. The docu will use archival footage and newly taped interviews to tell Ciarcia’s.
