Angelus festival calls for entries

Annual event set for Sept. 13

The 13th annual Angelus Student Film Festival — set to take place at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood on Sept. 13 — has announced its call for entries. Films will be accepted across all genres, with an award of $10,000 going to the fest’s grand prize winner.

Eligible films must have been completed between June 2006 and July 2008, while the applicant was either an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited film school or university.

The final deadline for applications is June 1, and they can be downloaded from Withoutabox.com or Angelus.org.
