EMA announces nominations

Environmental Awards to be held Nov. 13

The Environmental Media Assn. has announced its nominees for the 2008 EMA awards, which will be handed out Nov. 13 at the Ebell Theater and Club in Los Angeles.

EMA prexy Debbie Levin said all nominees for the 18th annual event typify the org’s credo of promoting environmental issues. Kudos honor both film and television.

Feature film noms include “Baby Mama,” “Into the Wild,” “Just Add Water” and “The Simpsons Movie.”

Among the television nods, “Boston Legal” received a nomination for TV drama, along with “Bones” and “Eli Stone.” Nods for TV comedy include “30 Rock,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Scrubs.”

Rounding out the event are categories for TV reality program and children’s live-action or animated series.
