College TV Awards given out

Academy honors achievements

During a black-tie gala Saturday at Culver Studios, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation honored the winners of its 29th College Television Awards.

Tom Bergeron (“Dancing with the Stars”) hosted the event, which featured a slew of celebrity presenters including Pamela Adlon (“King of the Hill”), Dule Hill (“Psyche”) and Cesar Milan (“The Dog Whisperer”).

The College Television Awards recognize special achievement in undergraduate and graduate film projects. Winners were selected in 10 categories with prizes of $2,000 for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third. Winning films were screened Sunday at the Television Academy Foundation’s Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre.

Best Composition
