Actress, 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'

A five-time Oscar nominee (and winner for playing Katharine Hepburn in “The Aviator”), the Aussie dynamo returns this kudo season as Daisy, the love interest of the titular character in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Nommed for no less than two Oscars last year (in the lead actress category for “Elizabeth: The Golden Age” and supporting actress for her role as Bob Dylan in “I’m Not There”), she could ostensibly double-dip again: In between prepping for her duties as co-a.d. at Sydney Theater Company, she managed to fit in another indelible perf as “Indy 4’s” black-bobbed baddie Irina Spalko.
