‘Parallels’ wins TriggerStreet

Documentary nabs Online Film Festival prize

TriggerStreet.com founders Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti announced “Parallels” as the 2008 Online Film Festival winner.

The docu, by helmer Paul St. Amand, was selected by a panel of judges including Dave Stewart, Robin Williams and Rufus Wainwright.

“Parallel” premed at Vancouver Intl. Film Fest in 2006 and is St. Amand’s directorial debut.

Chris Perry’s animated short “Catch” was selected as runner-up.

TriggerStreet.com launched in 2002 by Brunetti and Spacey as a platform for undiscovered writers and filmmakers to receive feedback and exposure.
