Network acquires fashion games site Roiworld

Lifetime is dressing up on the Web.

Femme-focused cabler is expanding its online casual games biz by acquiring Korean fashion games site Roiworld.com for an undisclosed sum.

Network plans to use Roiworld to add more than 1,000 fashion and style games to its existing casual games library at MyLifetime.com, as well as develop new titles and business opportunities.

Roiworld’s South Korea-based offices will be renamed Lifetime Games Studio Korea and led by the site’s founder Kiseo Kim.

Studio’s U.S. office in San Francisco will handle business development, technology and sales, including new integrated packages with its parent TV network.
