HIT Entertainment has sealed a deal with Aardman Animations to rep consumer licensing for the new preschool entry “Timmy Time” in North America.
HIT already handles consumer products rights for Aardman franchises, including “Wallace & Gromit” and “Shaun the Sheep.” “Timmy Time” bows on Playhouse Disney in the U.S. in early 2009.
Also, HIT has sealed a deal with Aardman to handle the themed attractions business worldwide for “Wallace & Gromit,” “Shaun the Sheep” and “Timmy Time.” HIT plans to announce the first Aardman attraction shortly.
Both deals were set to be announced today at the children’s licensing show in New York.
HIT’s portfolio includes “Thomas & Friends,” “Barney,” “Bob the Builder,” “Pingu” and “Angelina Ballerina.”
