Exec will oversee digital strategy, branding

Tony Novia has been tapped as senior VP of new media development at Ryan Seacrest’s production company.

Novia will oversee digital strategy and business development for the shingle. He’ll also handle brand integration with advertisers.

Novia’s credits include a stint as VP of international at Universal Motown/Universal Republic music. He also spent time as a senior VP at Radio & Records.

Exec most recently was senior VP/content at uVu Mobile.

Exec also was VP of programming at Atlanta’s WSTR-FM and WQXI-AM. Seacrest got his start as a DJ at WSTR.

Ryan Seacrest Prods. scored its first primetime pickup, the summer NBC skein “Momma’s Boy.” Shingle is producing the reality series with Andrew Glassman.

Company is behind the E! series “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
