Oprah, Obama Try to Turn Out Black Vote

Oprah Winfrey was on a conference call with Barack Obama and African-American leaders today in an effort to boost turn out.

From the Politico: “Obama, according to a participant, talked talked about the election in the context of history, and what it would say to the world to see his daughters play on the South Lawn of the White House.

“Oprah called on those listening to get out the vote, to not let up, and to make America “truly one nation indivisible.””
