Obama’s One Last Visit

Barack Obama may raise $9 million when he passes through town on Tuesday for two entertainment industry fund-raisers.

The visit is expected to be his last before election day, adding a sense of urgency in fund-raising circles.

The huge sums, by the way, are expected to shatter Hollywood political fund-raising records, if not those nationwide. It would far surpass the $5 million raised by John Kerry at an event at Disney Hall in 2004. All the more amazing is that the Tuesday events were organized in 12 days.
