Final Debate: Higher than First, Lower than Second

Nielsen just released preliminary ratings from the third and final presidential debate.

In 56 local markets, the debate scored an overall rating of 38.3. That is higher than the first debate’s 34.7 rating but lower than the second debate’s 42.1 rating.

Baltimore, Washington and St. Louis had the highest viewership; New Orleans, Los Angeles and Sacramento had the lowest.

National ratings will be released this afternoon.
