Fox TV Distribution has upped two Euro execs as part of its continued expansion in format and co-distribution for scripted and unscripted programming.
Yoni Cohen, VP of sales, Europe, has been lifted to senior veep, international development and sales. Denis Cantin, director of sales, has been bumped up to VP, Europe.
In addition to his current duties, London-based Cohen will spearhead the strategic use of Fox TV rights to build an international television formats/co-production business. He will report to Steve Cornish, senior VP-g.m. Europe, and Marion Edwards, prexy of international TV. Cohen was an independent consultant before joining Fox in 2003.
Paris-based Cantin meanwhile will add more formats and co-production duties. He reports to Gerard Grant, senior veep-g.m., on licensing and Cohen on co-production. He has been with Fox since 2001 as sales manager of formats and factual programming; he was promoted to director in 2005.
