David Green named chief creative officer

LONDON — The U.K.’s DCD Media, which runs six production shingles and also has interests in distribution, is reorganizing its senior team to reflect its growing status as a producer.

David Green, chairman of DCD subsidiary September Films, has been tapped chief creative officer and becomes a member of the board.

Marketing maven Jim Hytner will join the board as a nonexec director. Formerly a marketing chief at commercial webs ITV, Five and satcaster BSkyB, he is currently commercial director of the British digital terrestrial feevee service Top Up TV.

Veteran producer and distributor Richard Price, DCD’s chairman from 2000-04, is leaving the board to become DCD prexy.

Last year, DCD acquired Prospect Pictures, West Park Prods. and September Films. It already owned Done and Dusted and Box TV.
