“I never knew I had so many friends,” Ed Limato emotionally said at his first-day at the William Morris Agency. He’d attended the first staff meeting in the morning and shook hands with a second group of members in the enormous agency. “It is unbelievable,” he said of the warm outpouring. Offices for him and his staff are still in the process of being arranged. Their quarters being converted, he says, “from an auditorium” and are now being blueprinted for the new William Morris building to be constructed on Beverly Drive. Norman Brokaw, chairman of the board, and the agency’s senior member expects the new building to be ready in 2009. It’s now going through the process of getting approval of permits and residents.
