“Brady, Brady, Brady”

That’s the title of the book by Sherwood Schwartz and son Lloyd, which is set for publication.  Sherwood has written the first part about the creation of a pilot, specifically, “The Brady Bunch” in 1969. And Schwartz fills the second part from 1970-75 on the stages of the series with the performers.  Sherwood, 90, maintains there’s a helluva difference between writing a series pilot and writing a series  episode. The ever-writing Sherwood will be toasted with his star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame next year. He requested that his star be placed on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. “That’s where I had to  run — for five years — to get Bob Hope a pineapple sundae at 2-3 ayem when we were writing his radio show.”
