StarHub, Singapore’s dominant cable TV company, saw net profit for 2006 climb by 63% to $234 million on revenue that grew by 15% to $1.17 billion. Company’s broadband Internet segment was the top growth area, with revenue up by 24%, driven by an expanded customer base and increased revenue per user. Cable TV followed with 19% growth, powered by subscriber revenue from the World Cup.

Directors forecast net group revenue in 2007 will grow by a high single-figure percentage.
