World Brief

“Hechizada,” the remake of “Bewitched” in Argentina, scored a reasonable rating for its Jan. 9 debut on leading broadcaster Telefe. Half-hour show about a nose-twitching witch and her mortal husband fetched an average 21.4 rating points in its 9:30 p.m. slot. It’s the latest U.S. sitcom to be redone in the country, as Telefe’s production arm, Telefe Contenidos, takes greater liberties with adaptations to localize content.

Adaptation was second to “Son de Fierro,” a family comedy from Argentina’s Polka that got 22.6 rating points in the 9-10 p.m. slot on second-ranked Artear-Canal 13.
