Cable network also developing Gant project

Logo is set to develop a music reality project with former ‘N Sync member Lance Bass.

Gay-friendly cabler, a division of Viacom-owned MTV Networks, also announced a development project with Robert Gant and has renewed “The Big Gay Sketch Show” for second season.

Latter announcement comes less than one month after the series’ premiere. The show will be integrated with online participation, execs said.

The second season of “The Big Gay Sketch Show” will go into production this fall for an early 2008 premiere. Show is exec produced by Joe Del Hierro, Dan MacDonald and Rosie O’Donnell. Jim Biederman also executive produces.

The Gant project in development is tentatively titled “The Gayonic Man,” a scripted action-comedy series about a gay bionic man from Gant and Rick Copp.

Logo has approximately 26 million U.S. subscribers.
