ITN signs Setanta Sports deal

Company to supply news programs

LONDON — ITN has inked a pact to produce all programming for the Setanta Sports News channel.

The 24-hour service, which is owned by Setanta Sports and Virgin Media, will launch on Virgin Media’s cable network later this year. The channel replaces Sky Sports News.

Setanta Sports has the rights to exclusive live coverage of 46 English Premier League matches a season and Scotland’s Premier League.
