LONDON — Financing house Ingenious has tapped Kip Meek, a former exec at U.K. media regulator Ofcom, as a director to the board.
As chief policy partner at Ofcom, Meek was responsible for content regulation and its relationships with international media bodies. He was chairman of the European Regulators’ Group.
Meek will have a wide-ranging role at Ingenious, establishing its research and publications business, building its consulting capability and ensuring that its media expertise is exploited across the business.
Meek will take up the position on May 1.
Ingenious was founded in 1998 by Patrick McKenna, former head of the media and entertainment group at Deloitte and Touche, and chairman and CEO of the Really Useful Group.
