'1408,' Comfort Inns tied to TNT show

Dimension Films’ “1408” and Choice Hotels’ Comfort Inns will be the premiere sponsors for TNT’s new original series “Heartland.”

The medical drama from Warner Bros. Television and writer-exec producer David Hollander is slated to premiere on Monday.

Each brand will be woven through select TNT marketing channels, including on-air and online.

Within the premiere episode of series, Dimension Films will include its extended trailer for “1408,” starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. Pic, set for release on June 22, will also be featured in co-branded tune-ins and an on-air billboard for the series’ premiere episode.

Dimension partnered with the cabler earlier this year when “Grindhouse” promotions aired on TNT.

Choice Hotels will promote its Comfort Inn brand in TNT co-branded on-air tune-ins leading up to the premiere episode, as well as series’ tune-ins, on-air billboards and in-program messaging each week for episodes two through five. The brand will also be featured online at TNT.tv.
