Rookie news mag “Geraldo At Large” went out with a bang.
For its final airings the week ending Jan 28, skein a 1.7 rating, equaling its highest Nielsen number ever. Since the annoucement of its cancellation in early January, ratings rose 21%, from 1.4 to 1.7.
The uptick in numbers might be a positive omen for host Geraldo Rivera, who’s set to return in a few months to host an hourlong weekend show for Fox News Channel.
Getting canceled didn’t help “The Megan Mullally Show,” however. Airing a mix of originals and repeats, its ratings dropped 22% to a 0.7 — the worst-ever numbers in the show’s short history.
