‘Degrassi’ enrolls in 33 markets

Canadian teen soap expands reach

TV stations in 33 markets have added “Degrassi: The Next Generation” to their fall slate, bringing the cult Canadian TV series to outlets in 85% of the U.S.

Series, which has played on the N cable network since it kicked off in 2001, is a follow-up to the 1987-91 skein “Degrassi Junior High” and stars most of the actors from its original incarnation.
