BRB’s ‘Angus’ coming to Nickelodeon

Dialogue-free series will adapt to new platforms

BARCELONA — Spain’s BRB has inked its first ever deals with Nickelodeon, selling kids series “Angus & Cheryl,” produced by BRB Intl., Screen 21, Catalan pubcaster TVC and Tuba Entertainment.

Nickelodeon has acquired cable and satellite TV rights to the series for Latin America, Belgium, France, Holland (also in an open-to-air broadcast format), Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Scandinavia, Spain and Switzerland.

“Angus” is a comedy filler of 104 90-second episodes with no dialogue. Series is designed to adapt to newer platforms such as videogames, mobile phones, blogs and podcasts.
