Reality/Life-style programming on the move
L.A.-based Bennett Media Worldwide, which produces and distributes reality and life-style programming in high-def, unveiled a number of deals abroad with broadcasters and Internet companies for a range of its product.With these just-announced deals, BMW said it has sold a cumulative total of 200 hours globally since the Mip TV market in Cannes in April. Among the agreements, Foxtel in Australia has acquired pay TV rights for “Bikini Destinations” and “Best of Hawaiian Tropic Girls,” and ILC Sport has inked for DVD rights to “Billionaires Car Club” in the U.K.
