STOCKHOLM — Former Kanal 5 boss Manfred Aronsson has been appointed CEO for the Swedish arm of broadcaster Modern Times Group.
Aronsson quit Kanal 5, and a post on the board of Canal Plus, earlier this year when parent company SBS Broadcasting was taken over by ProSieben.
Aronsson replaces Anders Nilsson, who becomes MTG’s co-chief operating officer, alongside current chief operating officer Andrew Barron. Both report to MTG uberboss Hans-Holger Albrecht.
Nilsson will also be responsible for MTG’s online businesses.
