HOLLYWOOD — At Tuesday’s “Feast of Love” preem at the Academy, director Robert Benton said he was looking to do a movie about love that was not a romance.
“Love is a mystery,” said Benton. “I’ve been married 43 years, and I guarantee it’s a mystery.”
Considering the film’s focus on love, one guest said he found it strange that the IMDb had the plot keywords listed as Bisexual/Oregon/Divorce.
However the MGM-released film is categorized, Lakeshore co-topper Tom Rosenberg said the pic has long been a priority with him.
“You like ’em all and you love a few,” Rosenberg said. “I’ve been obsessed with making this film for three years.”
