HOLLYWOOD — The courtyard of the Hammer Museum morphed into an Arabian oasis for “The Kingdom” after-party Monday night in Westwood.
Guests loaded their plates with hummus and tabouli while trying to catch a glimpse of the film’s stars Jennifer Garner, Chris Cooper and Jamie Foxx.
Producer Michael Mann called the Peter Berg-helmed pic a “tremendous poetic achievement,” adding that Berg was able to take viewers “behind the headline news circus.”
And while the drama about an elite FBI team sent to find a killer in Saudi Arabia was actually shot in Phoenix, producer Scott Stuber said they strived to make sure the film looked like the real deal. “We had about three or four different Saudi consultants on the film every day to make sure we got everything authentic.”
