HOLLYWOOD — Celebrating their second film together this year, helmer Richard LaGravenese and thesp Hilary Swank attended Sunday’s “P.S. I Love You” preem at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Although obviously not as physically demanding as some of her past roles, Swank admitted, “This movie was a challenge in a different way. I didn’t have to put on 19 pounds of muscle, or pass as a boy, but this is one of those comedic films that is based in reality, so it’s a challenge finding the humor in the reality of what’s happened,” she said of playing a woman whose husband has just died.
LaGravenese, Swank and cast mates Gerard Butler and Gina Gershon later gathered at the nearby Roosevelt Hotel, where party attendees were treated to holiday carolers and egg nog.
