HOLLYWOOD — Sean Penn and Jodie Foster were among the stars who came out to honor the work of those on the other side of the lens at the Behind the Camera Awards on Sunday.
During the intimate ceremony at the Highlands nightclub, presenter James Woods poked fun at Penn, who wore boots and flannel to the event. “I want to thank Sean for dressing the way he did. It emphasizes the importance of costume designers,” he cracked. Jokes aside, Woods ended with some serious remarks on the writers strike, saying, “I hope all the millionaires picketing millionaires remember that it’s the guys behind the camera who are really going to lose work over this.”
