Camera Awards shift the focus

Starry event honors those behind the lens

HOLLYWOOD — Sean Penn and Jodie Foster were among the stars who came out to honor the work of those on the other side of the lens at the Behind the Camera Awards on Sunday.

It emphasizes the importance of costume designers,” he cracked. Jokes aside, Woods ended with some serious remarks on the writers strike, saying, “I hope all the millionaires picketing millionaires remember that it’s the guys behind the camera who are really going to lose work over this.”
