Last book I bought:
“A Complaint Free World” by Will Bowen. It’s a challenge on trying to not complain for 21 days. Total realization when you can’t even get through the morning traffic without griping about the knuckle head driver in front of you (see what I mean).
Book I’m reading:
I am flipping between the Dr. Oz book “You: Staying Young” (I, too, got sucked in), “How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy!” by Paul Chek, a bio on Ben Franklin for fun, and a book on training called “Pace” by Dr. Al Sears (discusses the benefits of training 10-20 minutes at a time). As you can see I get a little restless just reading one book so I flip to the one that I’m in the mood for at the time.
Three books that mean a lot to me:
“Atlas Shrugged” (Ayn Rand rocked my world at 15).
“The Cosgrove Report” by G.J.A. O’Toole (about Lincoln’s assassination). First time I was given the idea that things weren’t always what they seemed in Government. Imagine that!
Total number of books I own:
500 “real” books and another 100 books with big beautiful pictures. These numbers don’t include the other 75 princess books my daughter owns.
Last film I saw:
“American Gangster,” directed by Ridley Scott
Three films that mean a lot to me:
“Cinema Paradiso,” directed by Giuseppe Tornatore
“Pulp Fiction,” directed by Quentin Tarantino (first movie with my husband)
“The Godfather” series
Last album I bought:
Can’t remember, may have been Mos Def
Song currently playing:
“Bamboleo,” the Gipsy Kings. Like playing relaxing music while I’m on the computer.
Song I listen to when I work out:
Hip Hop: DMX, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots, Snoop Dogg, Rage Against the Machine, etc.
Water, crushed ice, fresh squeezed lemon juice and a few drops of Stevia. Not much of a drinker, plus currently pregnant.
Doctors Without Borders.
Favorite Stress Reliever:
Gym and sex.
Living one. My family and I live 6 months in Hawaii and 6 in Malibu. If we do go on a trip Tahiti is a special place.
Chocolate and dropping the F#*@ word on occasion.
Outside on the beach and have really gotten into my new Express 15 minute workouts. Short, sweet, and to the point.
Five people who I’d like to see answer this survey:
Aubrey de Grey (far out gerontologist), Ben Franklin (can you see the reoccurring fascination with him), Meryl Streep, Martin Luther King, Jr., and George Carlin.
